A Surrealist Parisian Dinner Party chez Madame Rothschild, 1972

I kind of have a little bit of an obsession with surrealism. For my 21st birthday, I got a tattoo on my ribs that quotes my favorite artist, Salvador Dali, who is a prominent Spanish Catalan painter born in Figueres, Spain.

He said," I don't do drugs, I am drugs . "

Check out some of these epic photos ofpseudo-satanic dinner party Dali attended quite like the “Diner de Têtes Surrealiste” that took place at the suburban Parisian mansion of Baron Guy de Rothschild and his "hostess with the mostess", Marie-Helene de Rothschild.

Marie-Hélène de Rothschild held the surrealist ball at the Château de Ferrières, the largest and most luxurious 19th-century château in France, on the 12th of December in 1972.

Scenes from Roman Polanski’s movie about Satan “9th Gate” was filmed at this location, which was lit in red for the party to make it appear as if it was on fire

~a fur dish, Mae West red lips, & a blue bread for dinner duh~

Marie-Hélène de Rothschild was a member of the most powerful elite family in the world. Usually her and her family's events were super secretive but I am very thrilled to share these photos that I have discovered while surfing bored in class. LOL

To read the Magritte inspired invitation, it had to be held to a mirror to reverse the writing on a blue and cloudy sky.

Guy de Rothschild helped Marie-Hélène greet guests while she wore a horned “giant’s head” with tears dripping of real diamonds.

The crème de la crème of Parisian high society were the only ones invited, which of course included Dali and Audrey Hepburn with her head trapped inside of a Magritte birdcage ! *swoon*

Guests were required to attend in black tie & long dresses with surrealist heads.

"Marie-Hélène’s parties took on such importance that one social figure threatened to commit suicide unless she was invited."

Welcome.

Check out Jacqueline Delubac's reference to the famous painting The Son of Man, making a direct biblical reference to Eve eating the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden.

Baron Alexis de Redé wore a multiple-faced mask custom made by Dali Himself.

It is very similar to a mask seen in Eyes Wide Shut.

There were dismembered dolls and cracked skulls presented on the table of this dinner.

Making his infamous Dali face, Salvador Dali is seated with  Italian Princess Maria Gabriella de Savoia  in front of his famous depiction of Mae West.

Look how sick the two headed Baroness Thyssen-Bornemizza and Guy Baguenault de Puchesse look!

~No manners needed with this sugar made mannequin on the dinner table for dessert~

TENDERIZED TURTLES FOR ME TOO, PLEASE.

THE MENU:

 Hélène Rochas & François-Marie Banier

(senhora espírito santo & the duke and duchess of cadaval)

Behind the fun and games, these pics reveal the underlying ideology and the mind state of the occult elite in an ancient time.
